About Me

My name is Aaron Weiner and I am from Charlotte, North Carolina. I went to Providence High School and competitively played soccer growing up. In my spare time i like to spend time with my family/girlfriend, do yoga/breathwork, travel to the mountains where I like to hike, collect plants and invest/research the stock market.


In 2020 i started getting more into online jobs and found a way to sell bitcoin but when the market became difficult to navigate and I decided to join the UNC Full Stack Bootcamp for web development. In this class i learned how to code in HTML, CSS, Vanilla Javascript and Jquery for the front end. I also learned how to utilize Bootstrap, Bulma and various other tools to help with front end functionality. For back end development, i learned how to utilize MySQL, Sequelize, Express.js, Node.js and Handlebars.

    Stock Application

    This project was made to allow a user to interact with reddit feeds, stock news and stock statistics all on one platform. It is hooked up to the Reddit API and also Yahoo Finance which both allow users to search a stock symbol and pull information pertaining to each stock. Credit to:

    Daily Planner

    This application was designed to allow users to write in a specific time slot and save what was written to local storage and still shows after the page is reloaded. As the work day continues the hours past show up grey, the hours it is on will show up red and the future hours show as green.

    Weather Application

    This application allows users to see the current and five day weather forecast for any city they type into the search bar. The last city typed will after show up in history.

    Golfers Application

    An app for golfers to keep track of scores hole by hole and per course. The dev team decided to create an app that would address both total score and quota scores for the user. There are two ways to find the score through the total score and quota. A quota normalizes the scoring making the course an even playing field for all the players to compete against each other no matter the skill level.
